In all things, dig deep.
Everything was gold & green
Rain kept the other pilgrims away but I was rewarded with an empty cathedral
Weekend of maximum autumnal alpine stoke.
Fall colors
Alpine bed and breakfast.

Light through aspen trees should get its own Color of green.
Back road ‘sploring
Very creamy ride through Gunnison’s back roads. 60 miles of frosting and Oreos. #tourdefrosting
Autumn wakes slowly -
unfurling its limbs to tickle
genuflecting leaves
seeking rest on soft ground,
tired of summer’s uncertain air.
A season’s epitaph scribbled
in fallen pine.
Summer days unwound into autumn
By mist rising from rain-drenched
Pine forest - dissolves and
Unties the autumnal light
Softening the edges
Of the sun, ponderosa and -
My fingertips, solving
A stone haiku.
The shimmer of icy creek waters,
The smell of sun on gravel.
Aspen leaves inspired by late summer sun
To emulate its gold.
And I get jealous
Waiting to see myself reflected in alpenglow.
